Fitted
Kitchen
This work carried out on behalf of an
insurance company after a flood meant
the room was in need of a complete renovation.
The finished kitchen is a modern contemporary
style and includes high gloss units, laminate
work top a Franke sink with professional
pull-out tap and stainless steel splash
backs, upstands and handles. After removing
all the water damaged former kitchen and
flooring we tiled the floor, re-skimmed
the plaster on the walls and fitted the
new kitchen including extra down-lighting.
The work was competed in less than two
weeks in order to cause as little disruption
to the customers as possible.

Fitted
Kitchen
This complete kitchen with oak veneered
units and a high gloss laminate work top
gives a high quality look and modern functionality
while retaining the traditional character
of the property. This job involved removing
the old kitchen completely, making good
the old walls, and installing the new
kitchen including a re-circulating extractor
fan. As well as disconnection and reconnection
of gas and plumbing, this kitchen also
required additional electrical wiring
to allow the installation of the floor
level plinth lights. Finally we tiled
part of the walls and completed the decoration.

Roof Modification
Part of the roof on this property had
started to deteriorate and was no longer
level. In order to repair the roof we
first needed to strip away the tiles to
allow access to the timber work. We replaced
most of the timber and re-leveled the
roof. We then replaced the UPVC fascias
and white UPVC cladding on the underside
of the roof and re-tiled the top. In order
to increase the strength of the roof to
avoid similar problems occurring in the
future as well as for aesthetic purposes
we installed oak timbers to support the
roof.

"I have no hesitation in writing
a reference for Jason and his joinery
service. Jason planned and fitted my garden
decking in the summer of 2008 and we were
very impressed by the professional and
tidy job he did. The finished decking
makes a great addition to our garden and
has proved to be hard-wearing and sturdy."

Wood Burning
Stove Installation
We installed this wood burning stove
in the existing fire place of a house
utilising the original chimney and replacing
a gas fire. The first part of the job
was to remove the old gas fire and alter
the gas pipe work. We built an internal
breeze block wall, which we later rendered,
to protect the gas pipe from the heat
of the new wood burner. After getting
the chimney swept, we then fitted a sandstone
surround and York stone hearth before
installing the wood burner itself. Finally
we re-plastered where necessary and painted
to complete the job.

Timber
Sash Window
This property is located in a conservation
area, meaning the replacement window and
frame needed to closely match the original.
It was therefore necessary to have the
window manufactured to spec. We removed
the original window before fitting the
replacement timber sash window. As always
we made sure the job was finished correctly
by retouching the paintwork and making
good the walls surrounding the window.

Decking
We fitted this decking in a slightly
sloping garden. After designing the decking
with the customer we set the supporting
posts into concrete foundations. The main
framework was built around the supporting
posts then the decking was finished with
handrails, newel posts, spindles and steps.
We can fit decking of any shape or size
and raise it to whatever the height the
customer requires. |
